Children’s Ministry
Children’s Ministry at Christ Community Church
Growing kids in the gospel—together as families and as a church.
Our Children’s Ministry at Christ Community Church meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 am, providing a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment where children learn who God is and how deeply He loves them.
A Gospel-Centered Curriculum
We use The Gospel Project® for Kids, a Bible curriculum that immerses children and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission—from Genesis to Revelation. Kids discover that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story of God’s redemption through Jesus Christ.
Each week, children engage with:
-
Age-appropriate Bible lessons
-
Video teaching and storytelling
-
Hands-on activities and discussion
-
Scripture connections that point to Christ
True heart transformation happens when children experience the gospel, and our goal is to help them see how God’s story shapes their own.
Learning That Extends into the Home
Parents and grandparents are an essential part of our Children’s Ministry. Each child receives a “Big Picture” take-home resource that mirrors what is taught in the classroom. This allows families to:
-
Know exactly what their child is learning each week
-
Continue meaningful gospel conversations at home
-
Grow together spiritually as a family
We love seeing the church and the home partnering together to raise children in the Lord.
Worshiping and Serving Together
We begin each Sunday by worshiping together as a church family during the music portion of our main service. After worship, children are dismissed to their age-appropriate classrooms.
Throughout the year, children also have opportunities to:
-
Participate in songs and skits on stage
-
Help lead worship during special services
-
Share what they’re learning with the entire congregation
Led by Parents and Church Members
Our Children’s Ministry is made possible by the faithful service of parents and members of Christ Community Church who volunteer as teachers, helpers, and leaders. These volunteers love Jesus, love kids, and are committed to helping the next generation grow in faith.
👉 We are always looking for more volunteers.
Whether you can serve weekly, monthly, or occasionally, your time and gifts can make a lasting impact in the lives of our children.
If you’re interested in serving or learning more about our Children’s Ministry, we would love to connect with you.
